Christos' notes:

- We played the first ever same-day, full game doubleheader in league history - In game 1, Team Christos defeated Team Wilson 23 to 8
- In game 2, Team Mike (the ants) defeated team Roger (the scooters) 20 to 18
- People who played in both games: cccc, christos, alvin,
roger, andres, wilson, cruzer, mike, John B, thomas, and stephan.
Mark left in the 8th inning of game 2
- People who won both games : cccc, christos, alvin. Yay!
- People who lost both games: wilson, cruzer, John B, and stephan. Aww
- Wilson caused a stir on the red carpet when he showed up with
batman socks complete with black capes. Joan rivers immediately stopped
her interview with Kanye and Kim to find out who he was wearing
- "Fruit of the loom" he replied
- Game 1 started promptly at 11:30. There was a 40 minute break between games, and Game 2 started at 3:30, exactly as planned.
Everyone showed up on time and we finished with at least
half an hour of sunlight to spare
- In game 1, everyone on team christos had at least one hit,
one run, and one rbi. Share the love!
- No wait, alvin didnt have a hit. My bad
- In the 4th inning of game 1, fausto hit a line drive off wilsons glove and then his chest,
with enough momentum to carry into the left field territory.
Luckily wilson did not use his face to stop the ball this time,
and only suffered internal bleeding
- When reacher for comment, Scott said " hes fine"
- In the 8th, with John B on third, johnny hit a grounder to fausto at short.
Instead of just stepping on first, alvin chased johnny into foul territory to tag him,
allowing John B to lollygag home
- Wilson employed the seldom used " everyone bunt" strategy in the third inning of game 2.
Surprisingly, it didnt work
- Good defense: mike diving to catch a grounder off the pitchers mound,
andres throwing out johnny at second,
John B diving to catch mikes popup to the pitchers mound,
someone catching rogers foul ball near third,
wilson with two double plays from center in game 2,
- Bad defense - the 5th inning of game 2.
Actually, most of game 2, where there were 22 combined errors.
9 errors were made in the 5th, leading to 16 runs
- From the fusilli sports bureau, in the past 2 weeks,
mike has captained two teams who were losing by either 7 or 10 runs
and ended up winning both games.
- prior to making his season debut as a pitcher,
pat told mark to put a helmet on. He then hit him in the side.
He either has really poor control....or really good control
- can someone please check on yotuel and dannys availability for one game or both
or what?
- in the bottom of the 8th of game 2, after mark left,
team mikes replacement players made all three outs for
team roger while fielding at second base
- Overheard in the locker room: something about wilson hugging scotts jockstrap
with kevin watching? Sounds credible, we'll include it

Game Notes from John B:
- You forgot to mention that my car, despite being parked behind a fence and appearing physically impossible to be hit by a baseball, was hit almost as many times as Stephan. Following it's second strike by CCCC, his following 8 abs all resulted in foul balls approaching where I moved my car.
I have dipped into my coinstar slush fund and repairs are ongoing.
