Brian is one of the founding fathers of the Summer Baseball League and original member of the Stuyvesant team. Thanks to his longevity, he is the league's all time home runs and strikeouts leader as a hitter. He twice hit three home runs in a game. As a pitcher, he is third all time in wins and second all time in strikeouts. His 87 strikeouts as a pitcher in 2005 is second all time.

In 2012, Brian captained the Townsville Mojojojoes during Roger Cormier's year-long hiatus from the league. Brian is the only player in the league to be a permanent member on a team. He has won seven of his last nine End of Summer Classics, and was the winning pitcher in ESC IX.

In addition to his playing duties, Brian also administers the league's awards and has organized the Baseball Prom since 2011.
