-The  Ghetto All-Stars defeated the Townsville Mojojojoes by the score of 14-7 to  capture their fifth End of Summer Classic championship. It was the first time  the ESC title has been defended since ESC II when GAS defeated Townsville.
-Stephan,  Jimmy and Nannan (6-8 in the GAS order) combined to go 9-14 with 6 runs and 9  rbi.
-Jackson  tore shit up at the plate, mirroring Nannan's performance by going 4-5 and  reaching base in every at-bat.
-The  pitchers combined to strike out 26, the most since ESC III (off the top of my  head...this may be inaccurate).
-Jose  had the GREATEST SACRIFICE in the history of ever when he executed a suicide  squeeze in the top of the 5th; Stephan scored on the play.
-Mike  made a SICK catch off of Alejandro's fly ball to center in the 9th. He also  brought the noise.
-Kevin  and Pepe collided in the outfield on a fly ball from Flynn. Kevin then showed  us what was in his shorts. It was big and veiny.
-After  barely taking third base on an error by the left fielder, Stephan screamed at  Sepulveda, "SUCK IT BITCH!" Hilarity ensued.
-Pepe's  Friday excursion to the batting cages paid great dividends; he went 2-4 with  only 1 strikeout (looking).
-Unfortunately,  the celebrity softball game was canceled due to lack of available players.  Nonetheless, fun was had by most.
-CRod  showed up, despite being told that we were full and and had drafted two weeks  ago. He took over batting practice and decked himself out in his catcher's  gear. Further, he took Vicki's umpire spot yet left without saying anything in  the middle of the game. That was odd. All of it.
-We  had several players return from long absences. For GAS, Harris, Jimmy and  Nannan combined to reach base 10 times, while Townsville's Flynn and CJ  combined to reach base 5 times.
-The  person whose name is on Dame Wendy the most times is Brian Mangan. He's been on  the winning team each of the last three years.
-The  after party was fucking awesome. People who watch How I Met Your Mother would  say that it was Legen...wait for it...Dary. Early 90's wrestling fans would say  that it was...Perfect.
-Mark  made the last out of the game for the second year in a row, both times with  Wilson making the putout.
-  Several members of Townsville were left crying after Wilson's curveball.   CJ suggested we move up in the box.  That's what she said.
-  Jose's bunt was absolutely the greatest thing ever in the history of all  things.
-  While Sepulveda was taking bp, c-rod and nannan each offered him 20 bucks if i  could "show alejandro some real noise" by hitting him while he walked  between 2nd and 3rd without a glove on.  seeing as how Bryan owed roger 15  bucks, he took the challenge, but got jammed and softly hit a blooper in his  direction and got no money.
-  Townsville tried about 9 times to steal wendy away from GAS.  however,  showing even less team unity after the game than during it, only one person  would go at a time (mostly myself), who would then get mobbed by GAS (including  omar, who at one point showed no regard for his personal safety and just dove  onto wendy)
-  From the Flynn department of made up stats, Flynn had about a 9 pitch at bat in  the second inning before finally striking out swinging.  It's the longest  at bat he remembers having
-  Jose is fricken awesome
