- Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy scored 48 runs, a league record for most runs scored by a team in a single game. They also set the record for largest margin of victory.

- Just Around The Corner, a.k.a. Car Wreck's captain John B drafted Paul first overall, in the hopes that he would toe the rubber as his team's starting pitcher. Unfortunately Paul was involved in a car accident. Everyone is fine, but by the time Paul arrived in the fifth inning his team was down by a ton.

- Pete is 46 years old. Alvin found this out, because he has tact issues.

- Alvin works with CS4 Photoshop Masters Collection. Bitch.

- Mike claimed nobody told him to tag up from third. That is inaccurate.

- Wilson wrote on Facebook that this game was the least fun he ever had playing baseball, even outranking the time he got hit in the face off of a line drive, had to go to the hospital and was forced to drink beer from a straw for months after. 

- This game wasn't just unique for its score: Kevin played second base and later shortstop, two positions he is unfamiliar with. That didn't stop him from playing well defensively, leading John B to complain that it seemed like he was "all over the field". 

- Alvin caught for the second week in a row. He wasn't "Angry Alvin" this time though. In fact, it seemed like everyone else was angry. Angry at Alvin. 

- Mangan: You don't wear a cup?!
Roger: I just put my hand over that area when I catch.
Mangan: So you just use baseball as an excuse to fondle yourself for four hours?
Roger: I don't need an excuse...

- Christos told all of his team that they were welcome for their stats. He then strongly suggested that it would only be fair compensation if he be voted manager of the year. 

- Sportsvite came through! 

- Pepe made his 2011 debut. 

- That naked Katy Perry picture was determined to be fake by "The Committee", a not all that secret society that meets at Wendy's on late Saturday afternoons.

- In between scoring 10 runs in the first inning, Mike made the first and last outs of the inning by popping up. Consumed by his rage, knowing that everyone else was moving up on him in OPS and he was 0 for 2, he popped up a pitch in his third at bat and you could see the aneurysm in his head grow two sizes as he watched it slowly drift foul into our bench. Luckily for everyone involved, he ended up finishing the day 3 for 4 and containing his fury. If that ball had stayed fair and he had been 0 for 3, we might have lost our Iron Man, and Alejandro may have lost his love.
